Lake Country Caring (LCC), a 501 (c)(3) non-profit public charity, was founded in 1990 and originally operated out of the basements of a few devoted Waukesha County residents. Since then, the organization has grown and expanded, currently residing at 603 Progress Drive in Hartland.
“Our mission is to provide assistance to families in the Lake Country and surrounding areas through our contributions of time, facility, household necessities and prayer,” explains President Carrie Glapinski. “Gently used donations are gladly accepted Monday through Saturday from 9-11:30am, and our ALL volunteer staff assists our registered recipients on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9am-12pm.”
LCC cordially invites all readers to a wine tasting event at Vino Etcetera - Oconomowoc, WI on Friday, December 5, from 7-9pm. Vino Etcetera is a full wine bar offering wines, beers and spirits by the glass to enjoy in a beautiful and elegant setting. Guests will enjoy featured holiday wines, light appetizers, a fun raffle, live entertainment, a chance to meet and greet LCC's volunteers and – last but not least – the opportunity to purchase holiday cards that benefit the customers LCC serves. Mark your calendar to enjoy an entertaining evening benefiting our local community.
